MSNBC, a network known for its Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), recently featured George Conway, a founding member of The Lincoln Project, on its Saturday episode of "The Weekend.

".

Conway, along with other disgruntled Republicans, established the anti-Trump Political Action Committee (PAC) in response to their vehement opposition to almost everything President Donald Trump does or says. Conway's appearance on the show was primarily to criticize Trump and his administration, as well as the first month of Trump's second term.

According to RedState, the show's co-host, Simone Sanders, who previously served as the chief spokesperson and a senior advisor for former Vice President Kamala Harris, initiated the predictable Trump-bashing session. Sanders highlighted how, despite judges issuing temporary rulings to halt Trump's sweeping executive actions on constitutional grounds, Trump's team is working tirelessly to undermine America's legal system. Notably, Elon Musk and JD Vance have accused judges of being covert Democratic activists, suggesting that the administration could disregard court rulings entirely, despite no evidence to support these claims.

Conway, known for his bitterness, immediately resorted to low-level politics. He described Trump as a "criminal sociopath," stating, "Donald Trump is a criminal sociopath. You tick off the definition of a sociopath: They dont want to obey laws; they dont want to obey rules; they dont think they apply to them; and Donald Trump has no moral conscience and no empathy. He does not care about anybody else other than Donald Trump, which is why in his first term, he said, Article Two lets me do whatever I want, Article Two of the Constitution."

However, Conway's accusations seem hypocritical when considering President Joe Biden's actions. Biden has repeatedly ignored the Supreme Court on the issue of student loan forgiveness, effectively transferring contractual debt to American taxpayers. Despite promising not to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, Biden granted him a full and unconditional pardon, followed by pardons for his brother James and other members of the so-called Biden Crime Family.

Conway continued his tirade, describing Trump's first term as an "assault on the rule of law," likening it to a cancer that has now progressed to Stage 3. He accused the administration of ignoring laws and running roughshod over them, even refusing to spend money appropriated by Congress, which he claims is against the law.

However, Michael McKenna, former deputy assistant to the president and deputy director of the Office of Legislative Affairs at the White House, contradicted Conway's claims in an op-ed published by The Washington Times. McKenna clarified that while the Constitution states that no money can be spent without Congressional appropriation, it does not specify whether the president must spend all the money appropriated, leaving room for interpretation.

Conway also criticized Elon Musk, Trump's director of his new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), accusing him of not being lawfully appointed under the Constitution. He warned of a Stage 4 scenario where democracy, the rule of law, and constitutionalism could die unless something radically changes.
