Isaiah Carter, once a fervent Democrat and supporter of President Biden, has publicly disavowed his affiliation with the Democratic Party.
Carter, who not only cast his vote for Biden but also made financial contributions and appeared in Biden's post-election celebratory video "America the Beautiful," has voiced profound disappointment and resentment towards the party he once supported.
As reported by Gateway Pundit, Carter made his announcement through a video titled, "I hereby renounce the Democratic Party." In the video, he criticized the party for straying from its foundational principles and engaging in what he termed as deceptive and fraudulent activities. Carter accused the Democrats of misrepresenting their position on several critical issues, including their commitment to the middle class, peace, and aid to the impoverished.
Carter's frustration with the party was evident in his words. "This f***ing political party, the Democratic Party, has lied to us about everything. They've lied about being the party of the middle class. They've lied about being the party of peace. They've lied about being the party that wants to help poor people," he said. Carter further expressed his anger at the party for prioritizing appearances over actions and for allegedly using his tax dollars dishonestly. He also accused the party of exploiting the issue of illegal immigration for their political gain.
Carter's criticism extended to the party's treatment of African Americans, accusing the Democrats of using them as tools to further their agenda. His most explosive claim, however, concerned the operations of USAID. Carter described the agency as "probably the largest money-laundering operation in American history," likening the alleged corruption within the Democratic Party to the notorious schemes of Bernie Madoff.
Bernard Lawrence "Bernie" Madoff was an American financier who masterminded the largest Ponzi scheme in history, swindling thousands of investors out of an estimated $65 billion. He founded Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC in 1960 and served as its chairman until his arrest in 2008.
"Now we come to USAID being probably the largest money-laundering operation in American history. Congratulations, Dems. You've outdoneeven Bernie Madoff," Carter said. He expressed his disgust with the alleged waste of money, fraud, and exploitation of Black people to further the party's agenda. He also criticized the party for its stance on free speech and women's rights, accusing it of betraying these principles.
Carter's disillusionment with the Democratic Party culminated in his criticism of the party's stance on USAID and government audits. He accused the party of trying to prevent a government audit to avoid potential legal consequences. "You all have been out here telling us that you're against certain people. Well, now we've found out who the people rigging the game were," he said.
Carter's renouncement of the Democratic Party underscores the growing dissatisfaction among some of its former supporters. His accusations, if proven, could have significant implications for the party's reputation and future electoral prospects. As Carter concluded, "Congratulations. You all are never going to win another political race ever againnot if I can help it."
