THIS Squad Member Goes NUCLEAR On Trump Over Gaza Plan!

Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib of Michigan has vociferously criticized President Donald Trump's recent suggestion regarding the Gaza Strip.

Trump, following a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, proposed that the United States might assume control of Gaza after relocating Palestinians from the conflict-ridden area. This proposal has sparked significant backlash, with critics accusing Trump of endorsing ethnic cleansing.

As reported by The Blaze, Tlaib, who is of Palestinian descent, took to social media to express her outrage. "Palestinians arent going anywhere," she asserted. Tlaib further accused the President of exploiting bipartisan congressional support to promote "genocide and ethnic cleansing," urging her colleagues who advocate for a two-state solution to voice their opposition. Her response underscores the deep-seated tensions surrounding U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, particularly concerning Palestinian rights and sovereignty.

In addition to her own statements, Tlaib shared a message from Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud, who condemned Trump's proposal as "yet another chapter in the ongoing genocide." Hammoud argued that deploying U.S. troops and utilizing taxpayer funds for an invasion of Gaza is "morally indefensible." This sentiment reflects a broader concern among critics who view such actions as exacerbating regional instability and undermining justice.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt sought to clarify the administration's stance during a media briefing. She emphasized that while the U.S. recognizes the need to participate in rebuilding efforts to ensure regional stability, this does not entail deploying troops or committing taxpayer dollars to the initiative at this stage. Its been made very clear to the President that the United States needs to be involved in this rebuilding effort to ensure stability in the region for all people, Leavitt stated. That does not mean boots on the ground in Gaza. That does not mean American taxpayers will be funding this effort.

Tlaib, whose parents immigrated from Palestine, has previously faced censure from Congress in a bipartisan vote for a slogan perceived as advocating violence against Israel. Her outspoken nature has also led to confrontations with the media, notably when she refused to denounce "Death to America" chants from her district earlier this year. Her latest comments highlight the ongoing debate over America's role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the broader implications for U.S. foreign policy.
