Trumps Revenge? The Federal Woke Stronghold Thats Finally Getting A Shake-Up!

The federal government is riddled with bureaucracies that often operate with a sense of impunity, seemingly detached from the electorate's oversight.

Among these, the Government Services Administration (GSA) stands out as particularly problematic. Tasked with managing federal workspaces, the GSA has been criticized for being dominated by individuals with far-left ideologies, who resist reform efforts while promoting progressive agendas.

As reported by RedState, during President Donald Trump's initial term, the Office of Inspector General uncovered that GSA employees had disregarded legal mandates concerning facial recognition technology, subsequently fabricating explanations under the guise of "racial equity." Furthermore, the agency incorporated "lived experience" as a hiring criterion, transforming it into a sanctuary for "trans" and "queer" individuals appointing each other to positions for which they lacked requisite experience.

The GSA's tech office, known as 18F, is responsible for "building, buying, and sharing" technology across federal agencies. However, its influence extended far beyond this remit, dictating language and conduct in federal meetings to advance "diversity and inclusion." This led to the creation of an "inclusion bot," funded by taxpayers, which monitored employees' language, discouraging terms like "grandfathered" and "guys."

Change is now on the horizon, as investigative journalist Luke Rosiak reveals. With Stephen Ehikian, an associate of Elon Musk, assuming leadership, 18F is undergoing significant transformations. This includes the removal of the "inclusion bot" code and comprehensive revisions to existing regulations and policies.

The office, which still displays a transgender flag as its emblem, also eliminated sections of its employee handbook that required staff to describe their appearance in meetings to ensure racial diversity was visually apparent. This policy gained notoriety when Vice President Kamala Harris, in a 2022 meeting, introduced herself by stating her pronouns and describing her attire, a practice stemming from 18F's guidelines.

Vice President Harris stated, "Good afternoon, I want to welcome these leaders for coming in to have this very important discussion about some of the most pressing issues of our time. I'm Kamala Harris, my pronouns are she and her, I am a woman sitting at the table wearing a blue suit."

The GSA and 18F's initiatives have been criticized for their overreach and lack of accountability, with critics arguing that these agencies have been co-opted by leftist activists to further their ideological goals without electoral oversight. The recent changes signal a shift towards dismantling these entrenched practices, reflecting a broader effort to reclaim bureaucratic institutions from progressive influence.

President Trump appears to have taken these lessons to heart, recognizing the need to address the unchecked power of such agencies. The ongoing restructuring efforts aim to curtail the influence of unelected officials who have long used taxpayer-funded positions to advance their agendas without accountability. The current administration's actions suggest a commitment to restoring balance and ensuring that federal agencies operate within their intended scope, free from ideological bias.
