Wow! MSNBC Is Rolling Out The BIG Guns To Foster TDS During Trump's First Few Days In Office!

Rachel Maddow, a prominent critic of Donald Trump, is set to resume her role as a nightly anchor for MSNBC during the initial phase of the forthcoming Trump administration.

Maddow, who has been presenting her show only on Mondays since the spring of 2022, is now slated to return to a five-night-a-week schedule.

According to Raw Story, this adjustment in Maddow's schedule is part of MSNBC's broader strategy to attract viewers to its coverage of the first 100 days of the Trump administration. Alex Wagner, another MSNBC anchor, is also set to undertake a special assignment. Wagner will be traveling across the United States and abroad, engaging in discussions with both key figures associated with and individuals impacted by Trump's policies during his crucial first weeks in office. These journeys are to be referred to as travels through "Trumpland" by MSNBC.

Traditionally, the primetime schedules of cable-news outlets have remained largely unchanged, barring instances of anchors parting ways with networks. However, under the leadership of Rashida Jones, MSNBC's president, the network has been experimenting with new concepts. Some of these innovations have resulted in Maddow becoming a more frequent primetime presence than many had anticipated.

In addition to her regular duties, Maddow also spearheads an initiative known within MSNBC as The Avengers. This concept, activated during nights of significant news events, involves Maddow leading a rotating panel of MSNBC personalities, including Joy Reid, Nicolle Wallace, Ari Melber, and Stephanie Ruhle, for extended hours of coverage.

Last year, Maddow assured Variety, I made a promise that when you need me, Ill be there." Following the conclusion of this temporary schedule, both Maddow and Wagner are expected to revert to their regular slots after April 30.
