In a recent development, Jennifer Hill, a 38-year-old resident of Collingdale, Pennsylvania, has been apprehended and charged with registering deceased and non-existent individuals as voters.
Hill, who was employed by the New Pennsylvania Project, was taken into custody on Thursday.
As reported by Gateway Pundit, Hill allegedly utilized an application provided by the Pennsylvania Department of State to submit over 300 voter registration forms. However, 129 of these were deemed invalid. Furthermore, Hill stands accused of attempting to register her deceased father and another deceased individual to participate in the 2024 elections.
The Philadelphia Inquirer, as quoted by Channel 10, revealed that the Delaware County prosecutors have leveled charges against Hill for her repeated attempts to register deceased individuals as voters. The charges also extend to an elderly man who allegedly cast votes in both Florida and Pennsylvania last month.
Despite these fraudulent activities, officials emphasized that only one fraudulent vote was cast out of more than 330,000 in the county. "Let this pair of cases send a message out there that no matter how busy we are we are attentive to the signs of fraud," stated Jim Allen, the Delaware County election director.
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer disclosed that his department has filed 40 counts against Hill, including four felony charges of forgery.
Hill, who was a paid canvasser for the New Pennsylvania Project, a nonpartisan civic engagement group, is alleged to have unsuccessfully attempted to register three deceased individuals, including her father.
Moreover, Hill is accused of successfully registering a fictitious person to vote using her grandmother's name but an incorrect date of birth. However, no ballot was cast in association with that registration.
The charges against Hill include forgery and tampering with a public record, with each individual charge carrying a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
