First Lady Jill Biden is allegedly encouraging President Joe Biden to exact political revenge in his final days in office, according to an insider source.
This comes in response to perceived betrayals by political allies who advocated for Biden's removal during his campaign.
As reported by The Post Millennial, the President's decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, earlier this month sparked outrage among senior Democratic Party members. However, it appears that the President and the First Lady are now preparing to retaliate against those they believe have wronged them. "Jill views Democrats on Capitol Hill, the [wider] party, the Obamas, staff inside and outside the White House, the media, and all of Washington DC with such misguided resentment that I can't imagine she [isn't] encouraging [Joe] to burn the whole thing down, despite his better judgment," the insider source revealed.
Nancy Pelosi, who spearheaded the campaign to oust Biden following a disastrous debate performance against then-President-elect Donald Trump, has become a particular target of the First Lady's ire. Despite their longstanding friendship, the First Lady is reportedly giving Pelosi the silent treatment, and it seems unlikely that their relationship will be repaired.
The tension was palpable during the annual Kennedy Center Honors, where Pelosi and her husband, Paul, were noticeably distanced from the Bidens. In contrast, Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff were granted access to the presidential box, although the Bidens reportedly avoided making eye contact with them.
Some speculate that President Biden endorsed Harris for the nomination out of spite against Pelosi and the Obamas, who had pressured him to step aside. "Pelosi had told her delegation that there would be a convention and a nominating process. And Barack Obama did not endorse [Harris] for five days," said John Morgan, a Democratic mega-donor and Florida attorney.
However, Biden's relationship with Harris has reportedly cooled, with some suggesting that he was disappointed by her failed campaign against Trump, despite receiving over a billion dollars in donor funds.
