In an exclusive revelation, President-elect Donald Trump has responded to the recent ruling by the Georgia Court of Appeals, which disqualified Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, whom he labeled as "corrupt."
Trump declared to Fox News Digital that the case "is entirely dead" and demanded an apology for the "wonderful patriots who have been caught up in this for years."
As reported by Fox News, the Georgia Court of Appeals made a landmark decision on Thursday, disqualifying Willis and her team from prosecuting Trump and his co-defendants in an election interference case. While the indictment was not dismissed, the court ruled that Willis and her team no longer possess the "authority to proceed."
In his exclusive interaction with Fox News Digital, Trump condemned the entire case as a "disgrace to justice." He claimed that the case was initiated by the Biden Department of Justice as a political attack against him. "They used anyone and anybody, and she has been disqualified, and her boyfriend has been disqualified, and they stole funds and went on trips," Trump stated.
Trump further argued that the case "should not be allowed to go any further." He questioned the legitimacy of a case led by "corrupt people" and then taken over by someone else. "It was a corrupt case, so how could it be taken over by someone else?" Trump queried.
Referring to Willis' relationship with a former prosecutor on her team, Nathan Wade, Trump asserted, "The case has to be thrown out because it was started corruptly by an incompetent prosecutor who received millions of dollars through her boyfriend who received it from her and then they went on cruises all the time."
"Therefore, the case is entirely dead," Trump concluded. "Everybody should receive an apology, including those wonderful patriots who have been caught up in this for years."
Willis' office has yet to respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment, leaving the public to ponder the implications of this unprecedented legal development.
