In the small town of Belleville, New Jersey, a series of puzzling drone sightings have been linked to a missing radioactive shipment by Mayor Michael Melham.
For the past month, these drones have been observed hovering over critical infrastructure and residential areas, their grid-like flight patterns suggesting a targeted search.
According to the Daily Caller, Mayor Melham expressed his concerns during an appearance on Good Day New York, stating, We know very little. The mystery deepens with the confirmation from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that a Ge-68 pin source, a radioactive isotope of Germanium, shipped by New Jersey's Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), went missing from the Port of Newark on December 2. The shipment arrived at its destination, but the container was damaged and empty. It was a shipment. It arrived at its destination. The container was damaged, and it was empty, Melham explained.
While the NRC classifies Ge-68 as a Less than Cat 3 material, indicating it is "very unlikely to cause permanent injury to individuals," it can still pose a hazard to humans. The mayor expressed frustration with the lack of information and transparency from government officials, who dismissed the drone sightings as mere illusions during an "unprecedented meeting."
Mayor Melham is of the belief that these drones are most likely assets of the U.S. government. He voiced his desire for transparency, stating, I want them to be clear with us. I want transparency. I want them to say these are our assets, theres no need to concern about whats flying. The question should no longer be whos flying these drones, or who owns them. It should be what theyre looking for. Tell us theyre ours. Tell us that theyre protecting us and tell us what the threat is.
He further dismissed the idea of extraterrestrial involvement or foreign adversaries, stating, We know for a fact its not little green men, and more than likely its not a foreign adversary because they would be able to turn off the blinking lights.
Adding to the intrigue, President-elect Donald Trump, whose golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, has been a focal point for these drone sightings, announced he "probably" wouldn't be spending the weekend at his golf course. Trump also hinted at insider knowledge, stating, the government knows what is happening.
The President-elect further suggested that both the military and the President are aware of the situation, but for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense. Our military knows and our President knows. For some reason they want to keep people in suspense, he said. As the mystery continues to unfold, the residents of Belleville, New Jersey, and indeed the nation, wait for answers.
