Trump REACTS To Syria Take-Over With Jaw-Dropping Tweet!

In a surprising turn of events, Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad has reportedly fled his country, marking the end of a half-century-long reign by the al-Assad family.

This development came in the wake of Damascus being stormed by rebels. The news was met with a swift response from President-elect Donald Trump, who took to Truth Social to express his views on the matter.

According to The Post Millennial, Trump wrote, "Assad is gone. He has fled his country. His protector, Russia, Russia, Russia, led by Vladimir Putin, was not interested in protecting him any longer. There was no reason for Russia to be there in the first place. They lost all interest in Syria because of Ukraine, where close to 600,000 Russian soldiers lay wounded or dead, in a war that should never have started, and could go on forever."

Trump continued his commentary by highlighting the weakened states of Russia and Iran, attributing their conditions to the Ukraine conflict and Israel's military success respectively. He also pointed out the desire of Zelenskyy and Ukraine to halt the ongoing conflict, stating, "They have ridiculously lost 400,000 soldiers, and many more civilians. There should be an immediate ceasefire and negotiations should begin."

The President-elect further emphasized the urgent need to prevent further loss of life and potential escalation of the conflict. "Too many lives are being so needlessly wasted, too many families destroyed, and if it keeps going, it can turn into something much bigger, and far worse. I know Vladimir well. This is his time to act. China can help. The World is waiting!" he wrote.

Fox News reported that al-Assad, along with his wife and three children, have fled Syria, though their current location remains unknown. A group of men on Syrian TV announced that al-Assad had been overthrown, and all prisoners had been released following the rebel groups' storming of the prisons. Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali confessed his ignorance about Assad's whereabouts on Sunday.

Emerging reports suggest that both Iran, currently embroiled in a regional conflict involving Israel, Gaza, and Lebanon, and Russia, grappling with its own regional issues, have withdrawn their support for al-Assad. This has seemingly paved the way for Islamist rebels to seize control of the country and oust al-Assad from power. The world now watches and waits to see how this dramatic shift in Syrian leadership will impact the region and beyond.
