Kamala Harris, the former vice-presidential candidate, recently made a public appearance at the National Black Caucus of State Legislators conference, where she showcased a seemingly new accent.

Her speech, filled with colloquialisms and a casual tone, was a departure from her usual formal demeanor.

According to Gateway Pundit, Harris greeted the attendees with an enthusiastic, I knew yall were in town! I couldnt let it go without coming by to say helloooo and to say thank you to everyone here, all of these extraordinary leaders. She continued her address by wishing everyone a happy holiday season, regardless of the specific celebrations they partake in. I wanted to come by and say happy holidays, Merry Christmas, happy Kwanzaa, happy Hanukkah, whatever you may celebrate, she stated. However, she emphasized the importance of celebrating each other above all else.

This appearance comes on the heels of Harris's defeat in the 2024 election, where she lost to Donald Trump. In her first video message to supporters post-election, Harris appeared visibly worn. Despite the loss, she encouraged her supporters to remain resilient and not let anyone take their power away. I know that this is an uncertain time. Im clear-eyed about that. I know youre clear-eyed about it, and it feels heavy and I just have to remind you, dont you ever let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before November 5th, and you have the same purpose that you did. You have the same ability to engage and inspire. So dont ever let anybody or any circumstances take your power from you, Harris said.
