In the city of Amsterdam, nestled in upstate New York, a 100-foot-long "Vote for Trump" sign has become the center of attention.
Sticker Mule, the company behind the sign, is planning to host what it claims will be the "country's biggest" Election Day party beneath this colossal political statement.
According to The Post Millennial, this event comes on the heels of a dispute with the Amsterdam city government, which had previously ordered the removal of the sign due to city ordinances. However, a judge ruled that the sign could stay put on the old FOWNES building, a former manufacturing site that had been abandoned until Sticker Mule purchased it in 2019.
Sticker Mule's CEO, Anthony Constantino, expressed his vision for the upcoming event, stating, I want to promote unity and do something historic by having both parties celebrate democracy together at a party for the people, by the people. Its going to be the biggest election night party in America, everyone is invited, and its put on by real people; not career politicians."
The company has informed The Post Millennial that attendees can anticipate appearances from both local and national figures. The event, set to commence at 6 pm, will feature audio and video equipment for real-time election updates as the night unfolds.
Earlier this month, Constantino appeared on Newsmax, where he reiterated his belief in unity, stating, "We're inviting both the Democrats and the Republicans to celebrate together and show that people can be unified." He also emphasized that this would be "the biggest election night party in America in front of the sign," and that they were planning to "do something that's never been done before." Attendees have been advised to RSVP online.
The company had previously hosted an event on October 7, where hundreds gathered to illuminate the sign. Reflecting on the legal battle with the city, Constantino said, "Up until an hour ago, I was doing interviews, and I honestly didn't know what was going to happen tonight. I spent my day, to my surprise, talking to friends and family and UFC superstars, asking what to do. To my surprise, they all said, 'Go for it. Light the sign and spend a few days in jail.'"
This event, therefore, is not just a celebration of the electoral process, but also a testament to the resilience of the company and its commitment to promoting unity amidst political differences.
