Texas Mayor With Puerto Rican Roots Explains Why MSG Rally Joke Outrage Will NOT Have Effect Left Is Hoping For!

The comedic jabs of Tony Hinchcliffe at Puerto Rico during a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden have elicited mixed reactions from the left.

While some are appalled by the perceived xenophobia and racism, others are delighted, believing that the insult - referring to Puerto Rico as "a floating island of garbage" - will motivate Latinos to vote for Kamala Harris. However, this assumption may be misguided.

According to The Blaze, Armin Mizani, the Puerto Rican mayor of Keller, Texas, has suggested that the Hinchcliffe controversy will not have the significant electoral impact that the left anticipates. In a conversation with Glenn Beck, Mayor Mizani shared his insights on why "millions of Latinos" will continue to support Donald Trump.

Mayor Mizani revealed the primary concerns of Puerto Ricans, stating, Ill tell you whats on Puerto Ricans minds its the fact that, on any given day, you cant account for the fact of whether or not your power is going to be on. He further criticized the Puerto Rican government for its mismanagement, stating, Frankly, what in my opinion is garbage is the fact that weve got a government in Puerto Rico that should be attending to its people great people. But you saw it with the hurricane that happened back in 2017. Its a misallocation of funds. He added that a lot of Puerto Ricans ... are awakening to the corruption within their government.

Mayor Mizani also shed light on the real motivations of Puerto Rican voters in the United States, asserting that they are not swayed by crude humor. In a tweet posted on October 28, he outlined the values that truly matter to Latinos: faith, family, and economic opportunity.

He compared the current Biden and Harris administration, which he claims has led to record inflation, an open southern border, increased crime, weakened family structures, and the removal of God from daily life, to the Trump administration, which he believes upheld secure borders, economic prosperity, respect for faith, and American values. He concluded, This is why I, along with millions of Latinos, will help re-elect President Trump back into the White House.
