In a recent City Council meeting in Chicago, local resident Jessica Jackson delivered a scathing critique of the Democratic Party's long-standing governance of the city.
Her impassioned speech, which was met with approval from other attendees, also included a public endorsement of Donald Trump for President.
As reported by Gateway Pundit, the growing influx of illegal immigrants into Chicago, a consequence of the Biden-Harris administration's policies, has sparked outrage among the city's residents. They argue that these newcomers are straining the city's resources. This sentiment was echoed in a stern warning issued to the Democratic Party during a meeting at Chicago City Hall last year.
Jackson's speech was a direct and unflinching attack on the city's radical socialist Mayor, Brandon Johnson, and the far-left City Council. She accused them of reckless spending and mismanagement, stating, "Youre running the city to the ground. Weve asked you over and over again to stop with the spending. Weve told your cronies to stop with the spending. They wont stop you. Theyre letting you run ragged in here. Theyre letting you run the city through the ground. They wont stop you."
In response to this perceived negligence, Jackson declared her intention to seek help at the federal level, specifically from Donald J. Trump. She expressed her belief in Trump's ability to rectify the city's issues, stating, "Thats right. Because hes made it clear what hes going to do. See, I got to have some help. I cant let you and Cook County and the city take what my mother worked for and left for her children."
Jackson's speech also touched on the broader implications of the Democratic Party's policies, particularly their impact on American citizens. She criticized the party's perceived arrogance and their support for socialist ideologies, stating, "This is America. You bringing these people over here thats from socialist countries and all this and that, and you all think you all going to run that here. Say that."
Her sentiments were echoed by various demographic groups, including Black Americans, white Americans, Latinos, and Asians, who, according to Jackson, are all saying, "No, youre not."
Jackson concluded her speech with a resounding endorsement for Trump in the 2024 elections, stating, "Im telling you, Brandon Johnson, from my heart to yours, Trump 2024. No more blue, no matter who. Thats right. Donald J. Trump. Trump 2024."
Jackson's remarks were shared on TikTok by Danielle Carter Walters, along with speeches from other attendees at the meeting. These speeches serve as a stark reminder of the growing dissatisfaction among Chicago residents with the current administration and their policies.
