A Department of Homeland Security official has been accused of encouraging illegal immigration into the United States, according to a report by a conservative group.

The official, Wilson Osorio, allegedly used platforms such as YouTube and TikTok to offer advice to potential border crossers.

As reported by Fox News, Osorio is identified online as an associate counsel with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of the Chief Counsel. Following Fox News Digital's inquiry into his employment and the report, Osorio's social media accounts were made private and his LinkedIn profile seemed to have been deleted.

The report, published by the American Accountability Foundation and obtained first by Fox News Digital, scrutinized Osorio's videos and translated content from Spanish. "Osorio uses his TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram channels to post video content, mostly of conversations with illegal immigrants, where he asks the individuals to tell those watching how much money they make, how they came to the United States, and how wonderful it is to illegally enter and settle in the U.S.," the report states.

The report further reveals that Osorio began posting in July and has since uploaded numerous videos on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. In one such video, he allegedly showcases an illegal immigrant who now owns a restaurant. "The American Dream is alive and well. This is the story of a Honduran immigrant who entered the United States illegally ~20 years ago. With hard work and dedication, he is now the owner of an expanding restaurant which brings in over $1 million in sales," his Instagram description reads.

The report also highlights videos that feature migrants earning substantial incomes, advice for potential illegal border crossers, and stories of immigrants gaining legal status. "Wilson Osorio personifies the plague of unelected radical leftist bureaucrats turning this country upside down," said American Accountability Foundation President Thomas Jones. "He must be fired immediately."

The Department of Homeland Security declined to comment on Osorio's social media activities. However, Senator Mike Lee, R-Utah, condemned federal employees encouraging lawbreaking as a "severe breach of public trust" and linked it to the policies of the Biden administration. "Americans desperately need real leadership in the White House, the Department of Homeland Security and across the federal government," he stated.
