Famous Mom, Troubled Daughter: Rosie O'Donnell's Daughter ARRESTED Again...And This Time Is BAD!

Rosie O'Donnell, the renowned actress, has broken her silence following the arrest of her adopted daughter, Chelsea Belle, on charges of child neglect and drug possession.

Chelsea, who was adopted by O'Donnell as an infant, was taken into custody last month in Wisconsin after law enforcement discovered narcotics, including a meth pipe, in close proximity to her 11-month-old son, Atlas, in her residence.

According to The New York Post, the incident occurred after an alleged dispute with her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund, which led Chelsea to contact the police. Upon their arrival at Chelsea's home in Amberg, Wisconsin, officers found her son Atlas in his room, allegedly near a box of hypodermic needles, along with a meth pipe in the home containing residue. This marked the second time in a matter of weeks that law enforcement had been summoned to the residence.

In addition to the drugs found, there was also evidence suggesting that the house may have been used for drug trafficking. A setup for cooking meth was reportedly in place. Chelsea was found to be in possession of 18 grams of meth, according to the police.

The 27-year-old mother of four was subsequently charged with four felony counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, possession of meth, and possession of THC, as per Marinette County court records. She was arrested on September 10 and later released on September 24 after posting a $2,000 bail.

However, her legal troubles did not end there. On October 11, Chelsea was pulled over by the police and arrested again when they allegedly discovered another meth pipe. The police also alleged that she had pills, including Oxycodone, Morphine Sulfate, and Hydrocodone, concealed in her bra. She was charged with three felonies, including meth possession, bail jumping, and possession of narcotics, and two misdemeanors, resisting or obstructing an officer and drug paraphernalia. She remains in custody at Oconto County Jail, as confirmed by court records.

Chelsea is scheduled to appear in court on November 4 for the first case and on November 7 for the second case.

O'Donnell, 62, took to Instagram to comment on her daughter's legal predicaments. "Chelsea is in the news today this is a photo from a better time," she wrote, sharing a picture of Chelsea with a newborn baby. "Sadly this is not new for our family," the former "The View" co-host continued. "Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade we r all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease #??#love#alanon."

O'Donnell and her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter adopted Chelsea as a baby. However, Chelsea moved out in 2016 when she was 18 to be closer to her biological mother in Wisconsin. O'Donnell has previously described Chelsea as "mentally ill" and stated that she "has been in and out of hospitals most of her life. Born addicted to heroin. She has had a tough road. She is very sick. She is not capable of truth or reason."

Despite their strained relationship, O'Donnell revealed in 2018 that they had reconnected when Chelsea was expecting her first child. "She's doing better now and we're both communicating with each other," O'Donnell said on "The Talk" in September 2018. "When somebody does something unforgivable to you and you can forgive them and they can forgive you, there's a kind of grace that descends upon the both of you within that."

O'Donnell is also a mother to four other children: Parker, 29, Blake, 24, Vivienne, 21, and Dakota, 11. As she navigates this challenging time, she remains hopeful for Chelsea's recovery from her struggles with addiction.
