Wonder Woman Star STUNS Fans By Endorsing Her Sisters Political Opponents!

Lynda Carter, the actress renowned for her role as Wonder Woman in the 1970s, has sparked controversy by publicly endorsing the political rivals of her conservative sister, Pamela Carter, in an Arizona state representative race.

Pamela Carter, a former state director for the Trump campaign in 2020, is currently vying for a seat in Arizona's Legislative District 4. She is running on the Republican ticket alongside fellow conservative candidate, Matt Gress.

According to Fox News, instead of supporting her sister or maintaining neutrality, Lynda Carter took to social media on September 14 to voice her support for the Democratic contenders, Karen Gresham and Kelli Butler. "As a native Arizonan, I am proud to endorse @KelliButlerAZ and @KarenGreshamAZ for the two LD4 seats in Arizona's State House," Carter posted. She praised the Democratic candidates as "strong, experienced candidates, born and raised in Arizona," and lauded them as "working mothers fighting for the rights that matter most to Arizonans, especially every childs right to a quality education."

Lynda Carter, now 73, has a track record of endorsing Democratic candidates, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016 and President Biden in 2020. In contrast, her sister Pamela Carter's platform is firmly rooted in conservative principles. She has pledged to address inflation, back law enforcement, and secure the Southern border. Her campaign website criticizes her Democratic opponents for supporting what she describes as "Joe Bidens open border policies."

"Our open borders are allowing human trafficking, drugs (including fentanyl), gangs, drugs, and violence to pour across our border, in record-setting quantities," the website states. "This puts us all at risk, just because politicians are too busy fighting each other to fight for us." Pamela Carter asserts her belief in securing the border, enforcing Arizonas laws, and halting the influx of drugs, crime, and violence. She emphasizes that "legal immigration has long been a source of strength for America and deserves its own updating, but nothing meaningful will succeed until illegal immigration is largely ended."

Adding to the political divide within the family, Lynda Carter endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the upcoming U.S. presidential election just two days after her endorsement of the Democratic candidates. "Im voting for @KamalaHarris because she has a proven track record of improving the lives of everyday Americans," she posted on September 16.

Fox News Digital attempted to reach Pamela Carter's campaign for a response but received no immediate reply. This incident underscores the deep political divisions that can exist even within families, reflecting the broader ideological divides within the nation.
