A political action committee (PAC) known as "Beige Rainbow," which supports Kamala Harris, has recently launched an initiative titled "White Dudes for Harris."
The PAC released its first advertisement last week, which controversially labeled white men as "the problem" in America. This initiative has been conducting several online meetings to rally support for the Democratic candidate.
According to The Post Millennial, the advertisement was released on Thursday and began with a direct address to white men. The video stated, "So, I think we're all sick of hearing how much we suck? Every time you go online it's the same story. We're the problem. And yeah, some white dudes are."
Despite this contentious statement, the "White Dudes for Harris" campaign posted a message alongside the video, asserting their commitment to the election. The post read, "Were coming together to support Kamala Harris, focusing directly on talking to white dudes about our role in this election. This is just the beginningwere showing up, speaking out, and standing for what matters."
The advertisement further criticized President Trump and his supporters, accusing them of exacerbating societal issues. It stated, "Trump and his MAGA buddies are out there making it worse, shouting nonsense in their stupid red hats and acting like they speak for us when they don't." The ad also claimed that Trump's actions have only served to "screw [white men] over." This comes amid Harris's struggle to gain traction among male voters, as indicated by recent polls.
The video's narrator claimed to have conducted his "own research" and decided to "check out Kamala Harris and Tim Walz." He concluded by endorsing Harris and Walz, stating that they are focused on real solutions to protect our freedoms, and adding, At the end of the day, you're your own man. But if anyone gives you crap about it, tell them it's none of their d*mn business.
The PAC's video has garnered over a million views on social media, with many users mocking it as "cringe." Savannah Hernandez, a contributor to The Post Millennial, responded to the video by saying, "CRAZY to put a clip of a military member in this after Kamala lied about our military members being overseas and then disrespected the families of the 13 killed Afghanistan soldiers."
The video also included a brief clip of a military service member, which sparked further controversy. Some users expressed disbelief that the video was not satirical, while others posted photos of a chair in a room corner with a "White Dudes for Harris" hat, captioned, "Here's your throne king." This reaction underscores the divisive nature of the campaign and the challenges it faces in its bid to rally support for Harris.
