WATCH: Texas DPS Busts Female 'Entrepreneurs' Smuggling Illegals In Car Trunk

In the heartland of America, Texas, a disturbing incident unfolded last Wednesday.

During a routine traffic stop in Kinney County, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers discovered two illegal immigrants concealed in the trunk of a vehicle. The driver, identified as Vanesa Gutierrez, had granted permission for the search.

According to Gateway Pundit, Gutierrez and her passenger, Crisol Bernice Reyes, both hailing from Fort Worth, were subsequently arrested on charges of human smuggling. A firearm was also discovered within the vehicle. The apprehended undocumented immigrants were handed over to the Border Patrol for further processing.

This incident is not an isolated one. Texas DPS troopers are actively working across numerous counties in the state, tirelessly pursuing human smugglers and undocumented immigrants. Their goal is to ensure the safety and security of their fellow Texans.

Earlier in the week, DPS officers apprehended two more human smugglers in Val Verde county. They had three illegal immigrants in their vehicle, two of whom attempted to flee but were quickly apprehended. All three were handed over to the Border Patrol.

Texas has seen significant success with Operation Lone Star, a program initiated in 2021 by Republican Governor Greg Abbott. The operation, which involves the Texas DPS and the Texas National Guard, aims to curtail the flow of drugs into the country from cartels, arrest human smugglers, and apprehend ilegal immigrants.

However, under the administration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, critics argue that the Federal Government has deliberately neglected its Constitutional duties, as outlined in Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution. This section states, The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

Since January 2021, it is estimated that around 15 million illegal immigrants have entered the United States, raising questions about the government's commitment to protecting its borders and upholding the rule of law.
