A sexually suggestive cover image of an art and design publication, "KINFOLK," was mistakenly uploaded by Amazon for the book Bulletproof: How a Shot Meant for Donald Trump Took Out Joe Biden.
This book, penned by Jack Posobiec and Joshua Lisec, is the first to delve into the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. The erroneous cover image was first spotted on Friday, prompting Posobiec, one of the authors, to tweet, "ATTN: I do not know what is going on but This is NOT the cover for Bulletproof, @Amazon. They are sabotaging the FIRST book every written about the Trump assassination."
According to The Post Millennial, the news of the incorrect cover image quickly gained traction on social media. Many users pointed out that Amazon has had ample time to rectify the mistake but has so far failed to respond. Ian Miles Cheong, a prominent social media figure, noted, "Jack Posobiecs book on the attempt on Donald Trumps life still has the wrong cover on Amazon despite trending at the top spot."
The Post Millennial has verified that the publisher has made attempts to resolve the issue with Amazon, but as of the time of publication, the online retail giant has not made any corrections. The error has also sparked a wave of memes on social media.
Bulletproof: How a Shot Meant for Donald Trump Took Out Joe Biden is touted as the first comprehensive preliminary investigative report on the attempted assassination of President Donald J. Trump. The incident occurred on July 13, 2024, at 6:11 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time in Butler, PA, USA. The book promises to provide a detailed, moment-by-moment account of the events of that fateful day, focusing on President Trump, law enforcement, and the individual who attempted to assassinate him.
The authors, Posobiec and Lisec, delve deeper than typical news reports, asking tough questions and revealing new information about the secret life of the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks. They also discuss how the failed assassination attempt led to political upheaval, substantiating their claims with solid evidence.
Despite its release date being over a month away, Bulletproof is already the #1 bestseller on Amazon in the category of Law Enforcement Politics. This makes Amazon's lack of action to correct the cover image error all the more baffling.
