This Former Republican President NOT Following In Dick Cheney's Footsteps!

In a surprising turn of events, former President George W. Bush has declared that he will not be endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race.

A representative from Bush's office confirmed that both he and his wife, Laura, will refrain from endorsing any candidate in the upcoming November election. The reasons behind this decision remain undisclosed.

As reported by Gateway Pundit, this announcement follows the revelation that Bush's former vice-president, Dick Cheney, has chosen to support Kamala Harris over Donald Trump. Cheney, in a statement, expressed his distrust in Trump, stating that the former president "can never be trusted with power again" after his attempts to challenge the alleged widespread voter fraud that marred the 2020 presidential election.

Cheney further criticized Trump, describing him as the "greatest threat to our republic" in the nation's 248-year history. He accused Trump of attempting to "steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him."

Cheney's support for the Democratic Party extends beyond his own endorsement. His daughter, Liz Cheney, a former Congresswoman from Wyoming who has spent recent years opposing Donald Trump, also voiced her support for the Democratic Party. Speaking at Duke University, Liz Cheney shared her decision to vote for Kamala Harris, despite her conservative leanings.

Liz Cheney emphasized the importance of recognizing the threat she believes Trump poses, discouraging people from voting for him. She also dismissed the idea of writing in candidates' names, especially in swing states. She stated, "And as a conservative, someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this. And because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only will I not be voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris."

This series of endorsements and non-endorsements from prominent conservative figures underscores the ongoing tension within the Republican Party, with the looming 2024 election promising to be a pivotal moment in American politics.
