WATCH: The MADNESS Never Ends: Whoopi Goldberg BERATES Trump's 17-Year-Old Granddaughter

Whoopi Goldberg, the seasoned host of The View, has publicly expressed her skepticism towards Kai Trump's speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC).

The 17-year-old granddaughter of Donald Trump delivered a heartfelt speech, painting a picture of Trump as a 'normal grandpa.' Goldberg, however, cautioned voters against being swayed by this portrayal.

According to the Daily Mail, Goldberg, 68, criticized the teenager's speech, suggesting it was a strategic move to 'humanize' Trump, especially in the wake of Saturday's assassination attempt. "I know his grandchild was up on the thing and they're trying to humanize [Trump] and change your idea about who this guy is," Goldberg stated on Thursday's episode of the ABC talk show. "Don't fall for that."

Kai Trump, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa, took center stage on the third night of the RNC in Milwaukee. She defended her grandfather against what she perceives as media bias, a sentiment echoed by the former president. "The media makes my grandpa seem like a different person, but I know him for who he is. He's very caring and loving, he truly wants the best for this country," she asserted.

The young Trump further endeared her grandfather to the audience by sharing personal anecdotes. "He gives us candy and soda when our parents are not looking," she revealed. "He always wants to know how we're doing in school. When I made the high honor roll, he printed it out to his friends how proud he was of me."

She also addressed the recent assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, lauding Trump's resilience. "A lot of people have put my grandpa through hell, and he's still standing," she declared to the cheering GOP delegates. "Grandpa, you are such an inspiration and I love you."

Goldberg, however, remained unswayed. She reiterated her support for President Joe Biden, emphasizing the importance of performance over eloquence. "I don't care how old you are," she said passionately. "I don't care if you can't put two sentences together. If you get the job done, then I'm gonna follow you because that's what I'm looking for."

Kai Trump, the eldest of five siblings, has been in the public eye even before her RNC appearance. She has a significant online following, largely due to her golfing prowess. In March, she won the ladies' club championship at Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach. Her impressive swing and dedication to the sport earned her the Varsity Captain position at the Benjamin School, a prestigious high school in North Palm Beach.

The young sportswoman, who frequently shares her training sessions and gym routines online, is reportedly being recruited to play at the collegiate level. Her ultimate goal, she says, is to go pro. As the Trump family continues to navigate the political landscape, Kai Trump's speech at the RNC and her burgeoning golf career serve as reminders of the family's enduring influence.
